Feroz Sattar

Feroz Sattar is the co-founder of Swim Brothers and Her Swim School, Australia’s leading not-for-profit and culturally safe swim programs, dedicated to improving access to aquatic education and water safety for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Through their nationally recognised and award winning programs, they have supported over 5,000 individuals—embedding cultural safety, relational health, and community connection as core to participants’ holistic wellbeing. 

Feroz and Baker will lead a interactive keynote that is designed to offer the aquatic sector valuable tools and considerations to engage, expand and represent more connection and inclusion. Feroz said “beyond kickboards and pool noodles we think about how swim teachers and aquatic operators have a powerful role in recognising positive connections and interaction are rewarding and regulating. It is with this lens we develop our programs and outcomes.
